Alcohol Seller/Server Certification 


TN On Premise - Covers the sale of alcohol for immediate consumption. This is also known as the away-from-home market. Typically, on-premise locations include bars, restaurants, hotels, catering, etc. Removing alcohol from on-premise establishments is illegal.


TN Off Premise - Is the sale of alcohol to the at-home market. Alcohol is sold in sealed containers and intended for consumption off the premises. Typically, off-premise locations include convenience stores. grocery markets drive-thru beverage barns, or anywhere alcohol is sold in packages. Consuming alcohol on the premises of packaged goods establishments is illegal.


In most states the seller server and/or the establishment can be held responsible for the sale of alcohol to;

  • A minor
  • An intoxicated person
  • A known drunk or insane person

The alcohol seller server courses on this website will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to be a responsible alcohol seller server. The course is approved by Knox County, Tennesee and your certificate is proof that you have successfully fulfilled the requirements necessary to be a responsible seller server of alcoholic beverages.


Tennessee State Approved Certification Courses

The State of Tennessee requires that all on and off-premise alcohol sellers/servers must be certified by an accredited course to sell or serve alcohol responsibly. The aforementioned courses are State approved and the certificate of completion is proof of State Alcoholic Beverage Commission and local Health Department compliance.

Food Server/Handler 

The Food Handler Course is ideal for anyone serving food including, managers, servers and wait staff in a restaurant, bar, hotel, etc. The purpose of the serv safe food handler course is to provide you with the necessary knowledge to pass the food handler safety exam and earn your food handler card.


Food Manager Certification 

The Food Safety Manager Principles Course is intended to provide a basic overview of the topics that will be covered in the Food Safety Manager Certification Exam. This course will cover food safety issues, regulations, and proven procedures to maintain a food-safe environment


Food Protection Manager Certification Exam

The Learn2Serve Food Protection Manager Certification Exam is an assessment of the Food Safety Managers relevant food service competencies as it relates to the prevention of foodborne illness. In order to be certified as Food Protection Manager, a candidate must pass a food safety examination from an accredited certification provider as recognized by ANSI-CFP. The certificate will be valid for a maximum period of 5 years.


HACCP Training  

The HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) is a system comprised of 7 principles that are to be applied to a written food safety program focused on Retail Food Establishments. This safety course will teach the importance and use of all 7 principles. The course meets the 2005 FDA Code and USDA requirements.
