Oregon Mandatory OLCC Service Permit Online
Since 1985, all owners and employees of licensed businesses that serve alcoholic drinks for on-premise consumption are required to undergo mandatory OLCC Alcohol Service Permit server education. Oregon was the first state in the country to mandate alcohol safety training for bartenders, waiters, servers, etc. The current law requires alcohol servers take and pass an OLCC approved ASE course every 5 years. Mandatory alcohol server education (ASE) ensures that anyone in the business of serving alcoholic beverages is trained, understands Oregon Laws, and the principles of responsible beverage service.
In order to earn your OLLC service permit you must pass a 50 question multiple-choice exam at the end of the course with a score of 70 % a better. You are allowed to retake the exam twice before you will be required to re-register and take the course over in its entirety.
In order to earn your OLCC Service Permit you must fill out an application and pass an approved Alcohol Server Education course within 45 days.

Food Protection Manager Certification Exam
The Learn2Serve Food Protection Manager Certification Exam is an assessment of the Food Safety Managers relevant food service competencies as it relates to the prevention of foodborne illness. In order to be certified as Food Protection Manager, a candidate must pass a food safety examination from an accredited certification provider as recognized by ANSI-CFP. The certificate will be valid for a maximum period of 5 years.
The HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) is a system comprised of 7 principles that are to be applied to a written food safety program focused on Retail Food Establishments. This safety course will teach the importance and use of all 7 principles. The course meets the 2005 FDA Code and USDA requirements.
